alexandrite-alexandrite crown keepsake ring

I received my order today, and I loved all 5 pieces. The lab alexandrite ring is a beauty. It looks like a London blue topaz, but in the bright light it assumes the subtle look of an amethyst. This is the nicest color change lab alexandrite I have ever seen. The 2 rings, 2 earrings and pendant are exceptionally beautiful in rose gold and look like very fine quality pieces of jewelry. It is also noteworthy to mention that the jewelry web site selection process, order process and shipping are impeccably well done. JewelsForMe..... Many Thanks for making my October 2018 Birthday a very happy one. Cherie

Onyx is the birthstone for Leos and the anniversary gemstone for the 7th year of marriage. Black Onyx is the anniversary gemstone for the 10th year of marriage. Onyx is a variety of the microcrystalline quartz, called chalcedony. The name "chalcedony"" comes from Calcedon or Calchedon, an ancient port on the Sea of Marmara in Asia Minor. Ornamental materials were once mined in that area and it was an active center for trading various stones. Onyx were used widely in the past as bases and handles... learn more

peridot Jewelry

Peridot is named after the French word peritot, meaning gold, because the mineral can vary towards this color. Peridot is the birthstone for the month of August. It is also the stone given to celebrate the 16th year of marriage. Peridot has a very long written history. Ancient papyri record the mining of these stones as early as 1500 BC. The main source of peridot in the ancient world was Topazo Island (now Zabargad or St. John's Island) in the Egyptian Red Sea. In Ancient times, peridot stones ... learn more

ruby Jewelry

"There's no place like home."", whispered Dorothy, as she clicked her ruby slippers three times and was magically whisked away to the comfort of her Kansas farmhouse. Sparkling red in the glow of Hollywood lights, Dorothy's ruby slippers were actually nothing more than a rhinestone studded prop. Nonetheless, the allure of rubies and ruby jewelry is so strong that it has worked its way into all the cultures of the world from the beginning of history up to modern time."... learn more

Lab Created Gems

Many different gemstones can be bought in today's market. There are sapphires, opals, rubies, emeralds and more. What you may not know, however, is that all of these gemstones may not be what they appear. Some gemstones on the market are not natural gemstones, and should be marked by the seller as either "lab-created" or "simulated". You may find that some of these so-called "fake" gemstones may be almost as expensive as their natural counterpoints! This may seem suspicious to you, but actually,... learn more
